where she received a B.A. in Psychology. She then attended
Candler School of Theology at Emory University where she
received a Master of Divinity. She has been a United Methodist
Pastor for 15 years. The loves of Jane’s life are her husband, son
and daughter and the members of Powers Ferry!

Brian Tillman, Director of Youth Ministries

Brian is pursuing his M.Div. at Candler School of Theology, is
married to Shanika, and has two stepsons and a dog. He has
taught middle school social studies for five years. Brian really is
into sports, music, and technology, and is passionate about
making those things bring people to Christ and into the will of
God.

Daniel Wehr, Director of Music

Dan was born in Sacramento, California. He attended Portland
State University in Oregon, and performed with many groups in
the Northwest before moving to the South after an extended tour
with the Norman Luboff Choir. He earned his Bachelor of Music
Education degree from Georgia State University in 1990. He is a
music specialist, teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade at
Sedalia Park Elementary School in Marietta. Dan began directing
the music ministries at PFUMC in 1992.

Lynn Esslinger Wehr, Administrative Assistant &
Worship Instrumentalist

Lynn earned her Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in

Dan met in 1983 as they began the first of four USA tours with the
Norman Luboff Choir. They have three children: Emily, Bonnie,
and William. Lynn began playing the piano/keyboards at PFUMC
in 1996, and became the Administrative Assistant at Powers Ferry
in 2001.

Michelle McRee has been a member of Powers Ferry UMC for
more than 25 years. She has a deep love for the Lord, her family
and her church. Michelle is an Atlanta native and graduated from
Kennesaw College with a degree in Public and Social Services.
Her husband, Gene, plays the guitar for Powers Ferry’s praise
band, PowerSurge. They have four daughters.
